well i capped my internet connection this month and my parents weren't to happy about it. They asked if i could get my own adsl account and they get a cheaper a one. So my question is can i have two adsl connections setup on the one phone line comming into the house. Or do i need to get another phone line installed. thx for your help bubye

you can actually run 2 adsl accounts on one phone line but they both need to be with the same isp or same wholesaler.

you get an ADSL modem and then connect that to 2 machines, or whatever. then you get them both to sign in as per normal using the seperate accounts.

thing is, to get a second account you will need another phone line, so i guess you are boned.

cheapest and best thing to do..

Change to internode get one of their bigger plans, halve the bill with your parents... done!
