I'm working with this exchange server at a business the company i work for recently acquired. It has an existing exchange server with the old company's email address which is working with shared contacts and calenders. The problem is whenever i add the new email addresses locally and set as default, whenever the computer reboots the machines auto-default to the old exchange server domain.

any idea's people!?

When you set the addresses manually make sure you un-select the "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on the recipient policy" option.

Then it should stay as what you set it and not get changed back.

I don't really understand what your saying? Is the problem with Exchange or with Outlook/Windows logging onto a different AD/NT domain or is the new email addresses you added being removed?

Have you checked your recipient policies and created the new SMTP addresses?

*sigh* We're phasing out Domino in favour of ADAM for all of our Intranet based apps. Such balls. MS really went all out when they wanted to create a usefull tool for ADAM...ADSI edit...what a piece of s***.

I'll admit that Domino s***s over Exchange as an eMail server but the client is dongs as Crushles said.
