just quietly it was the most average telecast in a long time.
telecast started at 630 .. 5 maybe 10 minute build-up. telecast finished at 845. imo it took so much out of the game. i even forgot what was the last play was before the ads by the time they came back a couple of times. i have never had fox but i reckon bring on the pay per view if it means channel nine are going to do that.

it was delayed, and wasnt even shown on pay tv live due to the wankers at 9 taking the rights then telvising it delayed, WANKERS.

Sorry, not because i'm australian...but kidwells hit was terrible...shoulder straight to the face isn't nice regardless of who you are.

what about times when mason played BEFORE tv tribunals. junior football. mason is owed a lot i reckon. anyone who has played knows fellas like him have had it all their way growing up. just good to see the reverse. I dunno, I don't think it was a great hit, and I think the referee is a complete f*** up for not penalising Kidwell. Any time a player comes up with a black eye he's obviously had contact above the shoulders ffs.

Meh, seemed like a fair hit. And LOL @ Mason for trying to claim it was a cheap shot and that Kidwell came in from the side. He hit him dead straight on, initial contact with the shoulder/chest. Mason's own dumb fault for seemingly not looking up at the defense in time.

Haka is B.S., though. Either you can have your national anthem, or the Haka. Both ain't right.

i keep hearing it was a cheap shot, mason ran it up and he f***ing nailed him with a shoulder charge. If it was sonny Bill the media would be creaming their pants over it.

Finally league shows me something worth watching. In rugby if you disrespect the haka you get f***ed up and that's the way it should be. In rugby, laughing at the haka has been used to get the kiwis to target a player and get so caught up in their rage that they don't have their minds on the game. Of course if the player isn't hard enough to handle the cheap shots that will come it will probably backfire.

Although I pretty well missed this game, I can't wait for the next one. Guranteed to be some big hits.
