Got a group of mates who are keen to to get up to some mischief these coming Summer holidays just wondering if anyone here has any good ideas or can recommend anything they've done.
Last year the same group and I went on a 9 day cruise to vanuatu (whole holiday was just less then $2k) So looking to spend no more then that again. Kinda thing we were thinking of, tripping to NZ, going witsundays, aerlie beach. not sure if we are moving towards the whole partying thing, or more sightseeing any ideas? |

Working hol's? Go to the states and work the ski fields... or if you don't like the states, go to Canada, but I hear that you'll find more Aussies on the ski fields of canada than any one else.

All the med students are going up north after they graduate - they all rent out massive sailboats for the week and just sail around the reefs getting pissed and who knows what else. I think about 6 or 7 per boat and it costs about 2K all up including flights and expenses. You don't even need someone to captain the boat - they give you a quick course before you do it. If you're intrested I'll find out more info for ya.

Yes I am aforementioned med student heading up to cruise the Whitsundays after final exams. There's 80 of us going, with 8 - 10 people per boat. Boat rental for us (10 on a yacht) is $550 per person. Apart from that, you have to get up there (I'm flying to Proserpine for $200 return) and have some spending money for food and alcohol. It's gonna be AWESOME! |
