Haven't found anything about it, but there have been rumours for ages they will be playing BDO, so maybe a January tour?

Tool will also be playing.

i'd take all "omg xyz is headlining BDO" with a grain of salt untill the announcements, theres been so many half truths flying around as usual. As for Muse one of my workmates is over there on tour with them so i'll email him and see what he can tell me :D

I think I'd rather fly to sydney for one night to see Muse in their own concert than pay s***loads to see them play for only 50 minutes in the sun surrounded by millions of bogans.

I am seeing Muse in Dublin (already got my ticket) and I am contemplating (read I am going to go) seeing them in London at motherf***ing WEMBLY!!!

I am also seeing TOOL!! in Dublin and again maybe at WEMBLY, their tours are at the same time, so can see both of them within a few days of one another at wembly, I love being over in Europe, so many acts

What I am f***ing pissed about is Pearl Jam only played ONE show in Dublin/Ireland in their latest tour and I didn't even know it was on, trying to find another european city I can see them at!

p.s. ALL muse albums rock, their last one is awesome if you actually listen to it more then once and form your own opinions on things and not listen to the bandwagons!

heardy out

Muse are the most likely band to play at BDO at the moment, J and the Doctor specifically said "stay tuned for more dates coming soon" and I mean, who announces shows in one city then announces shows in another? Obviously going to be big day out.

Other rumours are Tool and Foo Fighters... for obvious reasons.

Dave Grohl mentioned on the radio yesterday that he would "call back toomorrow (today)" with the real news (ie. foo fighters tour?)

are you serious? have you heard axl's voice in the last 5 years? its long gone, and the lineup has changed so many times that its just axl rose and friends now, not really G'n'R

I would Def Love to see Tool AT BDO.

I should been more specific in what i said earlier. I really enjoyed Absolution and Muscle Museum but i thought there latest album, black holes and revelations was just not the same style i was use to. The only song i liked on there new album was starlight. I def think they don't have that appeal or originality they use to have with songs like citizen erased, Time is running out and hysteria.

people who don't like splendour don't like music ;)

The tool shows in melbourne and sydney are put on by Lees & west, the big day out organisers and are around the same time ast BDO. Also, the official announcement said that shows would be announced still to come in Auckland, Adelaide, Perth and "Queensland". No, not brisbane but "Queensland". Of course, as the big day out is at gold coast, not brissie... so with all that i'd say its pretty safe to say tool will be at BDO.

Tool, Muse.. and that's just a start. Sounds like it's gonna be a good day. :)

You lost your credibility. This new album is kinda like a continuation from the last one... awesome.

fuggin awsome the last concert kicked some ass, those giant white balls dropping from the sky during Newborn (maybe?) was some seriously spine tingleing stuff. Everyone who is somewhat interested in this band do yourselves a favour, regardless of what you think of the new albumn, go and see this concert. All of their songs sound absolutely 10 fold better live and bellamy is a modern day musical genious.

not according to the new album, its ok, but its no where near as good as their previous offerings, bring back the showbiz/origions of symmetry days.

oh and the white balloons at the concerts are usually let go in "Bliss"

actually your right i think it was bliss :)

and yeah I'm not a big fan of new album, dont shoot me for this but it sounds like they have tried to go a bit more commercial with it - not selling out - but you know what i mean

I think the album will be ALOT better played live, i also think if it wasn't MUSE who's album it was people would like it alot better... I just think we all were expecting something different so was all a little dissapointed, and cant quite get past that, but the album grows on you the more you listen to it (which reminds me i have to put it on again sometime soon)
