I have my xbox set up as a media centre via a cable, but recently installed a wireless router. When I was setting up the router I accidently deleted the settings for the network in regards to the xbox ie ip address, subnet mask etc on the computer. The wireless is working fine (I have a laptop running off it) but now the xbox can't see the computer.
In network connections, in the onboard network that i use to connect to the xbox I have the IP addy set the same on the computer and the xbox, but it doesn't want to work. Is this right? Sorry I know this is kinda vague but I was wondering if there is something simple I need to do. I have tried restarting xbox, pc and changing ip and ensuring network info is replicated on both machines. Any suggestions? |

the ip has to be different. ie 192.168.0.1 on your pc and 192.168.0.2 on the xbox
