Antonio Banderas stars in Take the Lead, a drama inspired by the true story of Pierre Dulaine, an inspirational Manhattan dance teacher and competitor who volunteers his time to teach ballroom dancing to a diverse group of New York inner-city high school students serving detention. Damn cool movie! I'm not into ballroom dancing and s*** but this film was pretty good. It's got the typical storyline from movies such as Lean On Me and To Sir With Love. An outsider comes along and at first the kids are hesitant, then they're all cool with it, then they all have an argument and then everyone's cool with everyone at the end. Standard inspirational movie. Worth the watch when it comes along on DVD. 8-) Released on DVD, 21st September |

Agreed, this show is pretty cool... almost made me want to take up dancing, but then thankfully my sanity returned to me shortly after.

I find Antonio Banderas a little... slimy. Like Pierce Brosnan with a cheesy latino accent.
