I'm considering parting ways with my xbox (original) and I'm wondering what experience you guys have with EB and Gametraders in regards to trade ins? It'd probably just be the console itself and perhaps a couple of the games I don't really play anymore (midtown madness 3 etc) Is it worth even trading it? or better off selling it on Ebay or something, I'd be happy just to get enough to get a decent 360 game out of it.

sometimes they have deals where if you trade an xbox + certain number of games, you can get some pretty decent deals out of it, but all in all id probably say ebay if they dont have any specials running

I too am looking to trade in some of my old ps2 games and maybe even my homo ps one games. I never play them anymore and have a whole heap. How much do they usually buy games for (avg)?

I just today noticed EB sells pre-owned Xboxs along with one game from their <$25 pre-owned library for $129 if that's any indication of trade-in price. They also do the same for the classic DS but I don't want some kid's grubby thing :(

the credit they got let them get a Xbox 360 premium pack for $250
