I'd rather a real life movie like the old ones but if they get a decent script this could be cool |

I reckon it looks totally radical dudes! Like many others I was tmnt crazy in primary school but the original movies never really appealed as much as the cartoon (and action figures of course). This however, looks to be almost spot on nailing the style of the original comics, which can only be a good thing. Cowabunga!

The animation is quite awesome
kiddyThere's that word again. It's the teenage mutant ninja f***ing turtles. Wouldn't want it to look "kiddy" would we? http://www.crpg.ru/modules/My_eGallery/gallery/WOW/art/thumb/gnome_mount2.jpg |

A gnome riding a mechostrider isn't kiddy. Annoying prolly with the noise it makes when it moves though.

They need to put more weight on them...... Now they are even getting CG characters on crash diets They are supposed to be adolescent ninja’s. If you’ve ever read the original Eastman and Laird graphic novels you’d be happy they are paying homage. There's that word again. It's the teenage mutant ninja f***ing turtles. The graphic novel wasn’t “kiddy” in nature. |

http://www.tobyradloff.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/04/genuine-nerd-interview.jpgOh okay, so as long as it hasn't been taken in another direction since then I suppose we're safe. Giant goofy anthropomorphic far-east turtles simply aren't fly unless they're dark and brooding. |

Turtles f***ing RULE. The original movie is still quite a decent movie by today's standards. The sequels were pretty dodge:(
I think it's good that it's a full blown animation, cause if they did a real life film, the turtles would be mostly CG anyway and probably look as real as they did in that preview, which would be stupid. |

My mum still moans about having to buy $14 turtle figurines every b/day xmas. It was a v. happy xmas when I got that piece of s*** blimp that fired missiles about 2 inches and deflated by boxing day. Happy days.
Raphael ftw. Sai's (sic?) ftw. |

Raphael ftw. Sai's (sic?) ftw. Donatello was always my favorite... also the best character to play in any of the turtles video games simply because of the length of his weapon. The TMNT Arcade Game is still by far the best Turtles game ever released. |

Oooher sweet I was a TMNT fan back in primary school as well, yeah I had the blimp and yeah it deflated rather quickly :P
I think I still have all the figurines + the pizza launcher car thing, although well used and missing half the s***. I distinctly remember having fights between the turtles and footsoliders at the top of my mango tree in the back yard, both would fall off and the turtle would parachute to the ground with some crazy turtle parachute and the footsoldier died of course. That went on until one day the footsolider blew his head off on impact... I never did find it either. Mike was definately my fav, very fitting to his true gumby style ending up in the dumpster in the trailer. |

The pizza launcher car thing is where it was at! And I had the same trouble with the blimp hehe, I dunno what they were thinking with that one.
Bring on the heroes in a half shell imo! |

My biggest TMNT toy was probably this motherf***ing helicopter. You held it by the tail like a gun and squeezed the grey trigger thing to make it punch. It wasn't as sweet as the blimp but at least I still have it :D

I had the blimp... it was f***ing awesome. I'll still have it lying around somewhere here - mum never threw anything away. I always wanted to fill it with helium to make it actually fly though. God damn those toys were cool.

Obligitory movie video-game tie in. However, this one's being handled by Ubisoft Montreal again and looks to play pretty similar to the Prince of Persia games so should be better than the last few TMNT game offerings.

I was always the biggest fan!
Had all the figurines and even the ooze mobile! I still have a pair of shorts from when I was 4 - god knows why. Donatello and Michaelangelo were my favs fo shiz. Loved the original and the second movie - return of the ooze. Really disappointed that this is animated. Would have loved the real thing like the good ol' days. Turtle power! |
