Looking for a firewall that is easy to use and no mucking around. For some reason my version of Tiny firewall doesn't wanna work anymore.

Thanx.

i use norton on all my noobie installs where i cant be bothered explaining how a firewall works

i set it up and then never mention it again and it works awesome

unlike zone alarm which is horrible to use and doesnt work at all

when will you people ever learn spooks responses are all parody responses? He advocates the worst possible alternative to anything. IE over firefox, norton over whatever, 4 doors over 2. I see what he's doing there, it's time you did too.

Personally I have that sunbelt/kerio thing on here. I find it quite easy to use and it is kind of half free. The free half only works on 1 computer, if you want to install it on a gateway machine you need to register it. I have nortons on my laptop (it came with it) and it isn't the work of Satan, not even Satan is that evil.

Just installed Kerio and it has blocked my internet connection. Like I said, I need something easy to use.

Tiny firewall was good. Whenever I installed a proggy it asked it I wanted it to connect. Very easy and simple.

It's your fault anyway. If you didnt carry on about the amount of noise my vid card fan was making none of this would have happened.

Just spend $100 ish on a router and forget about XP's firewall (which causes more hassles than it's worth if you ask me)
