I missed the first half hour but thought the French played pretty well - Portugal didn't really ever seem to get into their groove.

I thought Henry's penalty was a bit weak but on the replay it showed that his leg was clearly taken out, so in retrospect it was prolly a pretty good call. Zidane was pretty lucky to put it in though - the keeper got the side right and made an impressive dive, but it was a great kick.

I thought the penalty was pretty weak and Portugal had more attacking chances. All it would have taken was for Deco to get a free shot from just outside the box or Figo's header to go under the bar and we probably would have been looking at Portugal in the final (I think they would have be more likely to score in extra time). Having said that France did better with what they had and defended better so probably deserved the result but only just.

Man that portuageese keeper Ricardo is a gun. Anyone that saves 3 penalties against any team is a gun. Except maybe England cause they're so s*** at penatlties anyway. Ricardo is still a gun.

saving penaltys is skillful, however it comes down to which way you choose to jump

and you cant say they used skill to pick which way the shooter is going because its so easy to hide / fake

C.Ronaldo is infamous for his diving. For that I rate him very lowly.
