I want to backup my firefox tabs/favs/passwords from my main system onto the new lappy i bought

how can i do this?

I use bookmark synchronizer 3 it uploads it to ftp everytime you close and downloads everytime you open

you can use it with more than one computer

I use Bookmark Synchronizer 3 1.0.2. Basically everytime I start Firefox it synchronises my bookmarks via FTP. Great little addon. Good for keeping things standard across my PC's and laptop :)

I used Mozbackup....but I cracked the s***s when the import failed after a rebuild. It imported 1/2 the settings...a few of the passwords and things but not others. So now I just stick to backing up the bookmarks :p

Just copy your profile directory - backs up everything.

google has just released a plugin that basically mirrors your firefox profile online (in encrypted form)

there are numerous other plugins that do much the same thing.

Online profiles/bookmarks are not good. Unless the google one is different to the others. They publish lists of popular sites based on how many people have them bookmarked (and other popularity ranking). The people that run Heardy's super-secret homosexuals-and-Donkey-Porn-lovers site will be pissed when it finds retards have got it included in the bookmarking top 10 for gay donkey porn sites list.
