Ok, I've been rebuilding my gf's pc and to do so I copied her Documents and Settings Folder to my laptop. I then formatted her PC and copied it all back but her previous My Documents folder is now empty. Originally when I copied it was 22gb, which it still is - yet is showing as empty (some stupid ms My Docs reg thing).
Does anyone know how I can get all the data back or even a raw file system view so I can sift through it without Windows showing it as empty? |

sounds like a really s*** way to backup tbh. should have used the file and settings transfer wizard included with XP.. export then import ftw.
as for your current problem, post screenshot of it saying 22gb and empty at the same time? |
