Evis and I powered for Level 14 for a month or two, cracked the s***s.

yeah I only made just shy of rank 10 and gave up to do raids, only things I would have gained from rank 14 are better weapons *shrug* that was on my rogue, sinec then I made a warrior that I now raid with, rank 14 would be tight on that but meh, I can just get my bwl gear and my ash'kandi and I'll be happy.

The best fun you can have in wow, I think, is world PVP on a decently geared dagger rogue and it doesnt exist anymore short of camping the entrance to blackrock. (or a couple other random places) I wish there was world PVP incentives... then you could maybe play a couple hours a day and get rewards and have fun.

That aside your only options are raiding or CP farming. Really nothing else exists. Until the expansion (and even then im doubting I could be f***ed) my epic'd hunter and newly 60 rogue are shelved indefinately.

I should also mention that the of the first 4 High Warlords on my server 3 quit within a month of reaching HW.

yea i cant see blizzard doing anything to change it either...blizzard are n00bs at mixing it up

I wish I could see what the big hype is about this game... it sounds so depressing.

When they first release the honour system. I was stoked. A lot of fun....when they released BG's, it took 4 or 5 games in WSG and 1 game in AV for me to see exactly what was going to happen. Blizzard destroyed PVP. I have not entered a BG since. I have just over 3000 DK's. I just world PVP and kill anything that's red :)

i got to something like rank 9-10. cant remember. the BG's themselves arent so bad, its just ... the grind for rewards.

anyways thats why i quit. everything is just a grind. nothing more. it takes a year to get any major change in a char. so boring.

Nice article - they missed the part where the whole "Honor grind" thing is going to be revised/revisited in patch 1.12, once they get 1.11 out of the road.. Blizz has been pretty tight-lipped about what will change, but they've more or less said world pvp will be back & the PvP honor system won't be simply a grind to get to rank 14 anymore..

Whether or not it happens is another thing - keep an eye out on the WoW boards once 1.11 has gone live & I'm sure Blizzard will start coming forward with info after a couple of weeks..

I've got a rank 10 rogue from pug, and it's f***ing gay.

I haven't seen a single proper town raid since dk's. Everyone disbands once a dk hits, or people just kite a boss then run off. Bring back world pvp!
