I know a few people on the forums work for wholesalers for PC parts.

Was wondering if anyone can recommend a good wholesaler our business could use to get PC parts.

Looking around southside, Camp Hill, Coorparoo, etc.

Cheers

Altech - http://www.altech.com.au
Ingram Micro - http://www.ingrammicro.com.au

Are the 2 that we use. Im not sure if, buy wholesalers you mean wholesale distributors or just cheap pc parts in bulk. Those two are the former.

Hey, thanks for all the input dudes.

Took scuzzy's advice and checked out CompuWorld. Seemed like a great place to go. Thanks!

BTW; any QGL'er work there?

Last time I bought stuff from CW, 9/12 items I bought were cheaper at Umart.

It depends on what in particular you're chasing. In 9/10 cases, you won't get the parts at a decent price unless a> you're buying more than 5 or more systems, or b> you're dealing with direct distributors of the products, who generally wouldn't deal with standard businesses. Altech is my bet for the standard ABN holder who wants slightly (and I stress slightly) better than retail pricing.

Most often than not you'll find if you're a walk-in off the street customer, the wholesalers will do a cash sale for you (except for the big-boys), but they'll hike up the price cause they know they can get away with it.
