Bush jumped on the bandwagon "Since everyone else is making fun of me i might as well make fun of me too".

This is such an awesomely smart move by him. So simple a thing just makes him seem so much less of a d*******.

Reminds me of when Clinton was on his way out and took the piss. Does this mean Bush knows he's a goner soon?

He can't get re-elected a second time I thought?

Actually I think it was extremely f***ing gay. I could only stand about a minute of it before I nearly cried for the lack of humour.

that was bloody great. i love it when politicians can take the piss out of the themselves. ps US presidents are limited two terms in office.

Billy is correct.

And Bushes would be laughing anyways... they are after all an Oil family. Look at that crude price ...

you can't get elected a third for a third term, he's already been elected a 2nd time

Did you know that you can't get elected for a third term, especially if you've already been in office twice?

some people think it was funny, others think it was crap. guess that's humour.

I thought Bush's real funny in the last week was when he was announcing the replacement of white house press secretary Scott McCellan with Tony Snow:
"Good morning. I'm here in the briefing room to break some news. I've asked Tony Snow to serve as my new press secretary. Tony already knows most of you, and he's agreed to take the job anyway."

Nothing to do with it. The White House Correspondents Association dinner is a tradition that goes back to 1914. Each president takes part in it. I think Bush has a good sense of humour and did well.
