1. The chick 'Anna' is damn fine 9/10 ftw, but she is thick as pig-s*** in the neck of a bottle.

2. The 19yr old boobjob girl 'Krystal' is the 2nd hottest tart.

3. The rest are trolls.

4. The asian tart shal be referred to as the 'mole' or 'moley' or 'moley, moley... MOLE!'

5. The blokes are your typical BB candidates i.e c******* wankers.

6. Gretal and her glow in the dark fangs, are still the scariest thing on TV.

There, I saved you the trouble of watching the same fecal waste shovelled onto your telly from Ch10 for the last 6yrs.

Doesn't whom take the form of plural ?
Booyah
Posts: 5357

Apparently not.

"The traditional rules for choosing between who and whom are relatively simple but not always easy to apply. Who is used where a nominative pronoun such as I or he would be appropriate, that is, for the subject of a verb or for a predicate nominative; whom is used for a direct or indirect object or for the object of a prepostion. Thus, we write the actor who played Hamlet was there, since who is the subject of played; and Whom do you like best? because whom is the object of the verb like and To whom did you give the letter? because whom is the object of the preposition to. ˇIt is more difficult, however, to apply these rules in complicated sentences, particularly when who or whom is separated from the verb or preposition that determines its form. Intervening words may make it difficult to see that Who do you think is the best candidate? requires who as the subject of the verb is (not whom as the object of think) and The man whom the papers criticized did not show up requires whom as the object of the verb criticized (not who as the subject of showed up). Highly complex sentences such as I met the man whom the government had tried to get France to extradite require careful analysisin this case, to determine that whom should be chosen as the object of the verb extradite, several clauses away. It is thus not surprising that writers from Shakespeare onward have often interchanged who and whom. Nevertheless, the distinction remains a hallmark of formal style. ˇIn speech and informal writing, however, considerations other than strict grammatical correctness often come into play. Who may sound more natural than whom in a sentence such as Who did John say he was going to support? though it is incorrect according to the traditional rules. In general, who tends to predominate over whom in informal contexts. Whom may sound stuffy even when correctly used, and when used where who would be correct, as in Whom shall I say is calling? whom may betray grammatical ignorance. ˇSimilarly, though traditionalists will insist on whom when the relative pronoun is the object of a preposition that ends a sentence, grammarians since Noah Webster have argued that the excessive formality of whom is at odds with the relative informality associated with this construction; thus they contend that a sentence such as Who did you give it to? should be regarded as entirely acceptable. ˇSome grammarians have argued that only who and not that should be used to introduce a restrictive relative clause that identifies a person. This restriction has no basis either in logic or in the usage of the best writers; it is entirely acceptable to write either the woman that wanted to talk to you or the woman who wanted to talk to you. ˇThe grammatical rules governing the use of who and whom in formal writing apply equally to whoever and whomever and are simililarly often ignored in speech and informal writing. See Usage Note at else. See Usage Note at that. See Usage Note at whose."

Anyone work out what the "World First" was? I was going to say it was that this years Big Brother was full of immature f***ed up cock headed wankers that have so severe personality disorders that they need to live in some fantasy land for 3 months to escape the reality that's been destroyed due to their attitudes .. but this was done in season 1.

on that basis are you saying, you dont watch the news, current affairs, sitcoms, lifestyle documentrys or sports on television, which takes up abont 99% of whats on television. and that you dont partake in gossip with your friends or judge criticise what others do.

ahh f*** it im not going to keep listing as being an active member of a forum contridicts your statement. the fact you discuss other peoples lives on here proves that you would rather watch other people then live your own life.

i assure no one prefers living there own life, over watching someone elses. anyone who says so is just attempting to not feel guilty over how lacking there life really is.

of course its all in your subconcious and arguing it is pointless, so we will let it slide just this once.

it just breaks me up how many people say they would prefer to live there own life rather then watch someone elses, then they walk out the door and gossip about someone elses life, or they walk out side turn today tonight on and are amazed at how some lady has been trying to lose weight for 5 years.

the fact is people dont want to partake in an activity such as watching big brother which social smug assed people try to make people feel is a bad thing todo, when really its just as normal as watching full house or rod young.

as people we naturally observe others, its part of our own development, to say you dont like doing it, is like saying you dont like breathing.

Wow, that's a bit of a slippery slope there Groydis!

I can't lie - you caught me out...I DO like to talk about current events and I do like to know what is happening in the world (major world events somehow end up effecting ppl in other places of the world one way or another), however when it comes down to the nitty gritty of the happenings of some random ppl stuck in a house together, I really don't care all that much. What I was trying to say is that I'd rather interact with ppl in my own life than sit on my arse watching tv all day (especially when the choice of tv comes down to something like BB).

Meh.

Well, generally speaking, unusual things or interesting things in ppl's lives tend to grab ones interest. BB sort of falls out of this category imo (a bunch of randoms living in a house could be interesting to analyse I guess but after watching season one of the show, I'd have to say it wasn't all that great).

the fact is people dont want to partake in an activity such as watching big brother which social smug assed people try to make people feel is a bad thing todo, when really its just as normal as watching full house or rod young.

Oh Groydis, don't get me wrong. I don't think there is anything wrong with watching Big Brother. If u find that interesting, go for it. I just prefer to watch something like Law and Order or the News...I can't stand Big Brother.

And yes, as a human I am also interested in observing other ppl and understanding ppl and the way they behave, but I don't really get much out of watching Big Brother that I couldn't get out of living my own life. Quite frankly I find the show rather boring.

Meh.

I belive TV is unwittingly teaching ourselves and chillen poor behaviour.

Time after time I see and hear parents putting their children in front of the TV while they do stuff, instead of looking after the children or having some else do it. So their kids are watching TV and learning who knows what and having no-one there to discuss it as they watch it.

Also, how many countless hours (hehe counting something that I call countless) are spent watching TV by the nation. Imagine all that time being used for other activities, like reading and learning.

Television, the drug of a nation

I agree with that.

Big Brother star bashed.

THE Big Brother star who this week tearfully outed himself on TV was the victim of a violent gay bashing that left him bloodied and unconscious.
Farmer David Graham, 26, who is the early favourite to win the show, paid an almost fatal price for his lifestyle.
