Scored a virus, think I got rid of it with Norton and XoftSpySE, but I think that by doing so, I may have inadvertantly damaged something in my laptop. EG: currently, I can't put a picture on the desktop, I can only choose a color - I can't even scroll through the menu that let's you choose a picture in "desktop properties". That's all I've noticed so far, but I'm assuming that it's a sign that all is not well. Any ideas? Any solutions?
