hey guys/girls
i'm looking at getting a laptop for uni. nothing special just something i can do my assignments on and also get access to the internet at uni. i don't really want to spend anymore than $1000 even less if i can help it. I really want something that I can turn on and it goes :) can anyone point me in the right direction of what I should be looking at or where I can get it. thanks. ryan |

make sure you format it before you have drivers or any access to drivers so you can't dial up and download more drivers yeah!

Have you looked at dell recently? They have a 1.5g laptop delivered to your door for 1k.

Also check graysonline.com.au, they usually have pretty decent Dell gear for good prices.

If you want it for uni, I'd recommend you consider a secondhand TC1100 (tablet) - there's usually quite a few available on eBay.
