Unbelievable like that ODI where 860 odd runs were scored.

Man it was slow but more power to him. He showed the top order how they should have applied themselves last test.

what a rager

he hit is 100 today at nearly a run a ball... the reason he was so slow was when he came in, his goal was to survive i.e. be a night watchmen

well played chackas!

You seem to be missing a day and the point there champ. He came in day 1 and survived till the end of the day on 5. Fair enough. Then he was in day 2 but a fair bit of play was lost to rain, we can let that slide. Today (day 4) he scored very quickly I'll give him that. So what happened day 3? Again they lost some time to rain, but between days 2 and 3 there was a lot of time he spent with a strike rate of ~30 (even after the quick last 100 his final strike rate was only 47).

Now for the point, it was actually good to see someone put their head down and work hard for runs, that's an example the top order should look to come Ashes time. Therefore it's not a bad thing!

hehe thought you'd bite :)

I acknowledge it was a slow dig, but as a mate at work said, even tho it's against bangladesh - you've still gotta get the runs, not play dumb shots etc etc, he batted for close to 10 hours to get the runs, so you can't question his concentration...

then the poor bugger has a catch dropped

well after running out your captain and worlds best batter, you have to do something... you know... score 200 :p
