Hi all. im after a new game that is similar to the Gran Turismo series, but playable on the pc.
with the whole buying cars and doing them up, but mixed with nice physics and professional racing feel. does anyone know of any games? (i'm not after a game like NFSU2 although it has some aspects, it still feels like "foot on the floor bouncing off walls" sort of racing.) |

Yeah NFSMW isn't so much about rice anymore. It's got that NFS 3 feel with more exotic cars, better car physics and better environments. Still arcadey though.

I doubt need for speed will ever be anything more than foot to the floor bounce off the walls racing.

You can't really go past GT Legends. Although it hasn't got the whole buy this and that for your car, you can spend hours fine tuning almost every aspect of your car. If you love your car games, definitely get this.

I'm sorry, but GT Legends is worth the pain of Starforce. The physics model is right up there with the best (a lot better than Gran Turismo btw) and the choice of cars is awesome - they're all old cars though.
GTR 2 is due out later this year and ought to be even better. |
