Go get a tomtom. Thats what we have. Then just google for the red light cams and speed cams and upload them. Really easy to use.

Question about these: a taxi driver said the one he had could work in New Zealand if he took it there (or anywehre else in the world). I thought you needed to install whichever city you are in??

Yeah, I have tomtom on my PPC in the car. It works well except for when its being very lame. Ie, It will try and get you to take an off ramp on the highway only to rejoin the highway via the next onramp. Just stay on the freakin highway tomtom !!

We just got the iCN520 at work today, $999 I believe somene said. We have a Mio 168 as well (which is exactly the same thing, with a slightly different case and different software) and a navman iCN320.
The Navman 520 seems to have reasonably old maps, they're marked as "2005 edition" but the mio seems pretty cool. and u can pull it out and use it walking around as it has a batery built inare there any gps' that don't have a built in battery? |
