first one would been ok if they didnt cut out the "sensitive" parts.. or atleast included them in the f***ing dvd.

f*** yeah, that image rocks. it looks like its gonna be a dark movie, bit of turmoil again (100% speculation of course)

first movie was great. good message carried well throught the movie.
second was too lovey dovey, and had too many flaws in the plot.

i thought they both rocked and can't wait for the third.

i cant stand when they change cast members half way through series. so i hope its toby again. i think he did a great job the first 2 times. poster is pretty snazzy too. also from the look spidy is in, perhaps something bad happens to mj or aunt may cuz he looks sad.

Well hopefully they'll be less whinging about being a superhero and more action. I'd kill to have powers like that.

By the dark look of the costume, I'm hoping it has something to do with Venom, although it doesn't show the insignia on the front. That'd be kick arse.

thats his black suit supposedly. i hope that venom isnt an enemy in the third movie. i think it would be best if they just introduced eddie brock and have him turn into venom at the end of the movie so that he is the main enemy in spiderman 4.

from what i've heard around is that venom and sandman are both in the movie with thomas haden church (from ned & stacy) playing sandman.

right on...amazes me how people get all deep and critical about plot development in a popcorn, escapist bash. I loved SP1&2 and reckon they are great for what they are. Although I do like Batman begins the most as it did have some sort of effort put into the depth of the character etc...

(Citizen Kane and such genre is a whole new kettle of fish....film noir is awesome.)

I leave my brain at the door when I go into any kind of major action blockbuster. I find I enjoy movies a whole heap more.

Spidey picked up the black suit in the Marvell "Secret Wars" series, when (almost) all the heroes and villains were abducted to fight one another. His normal red suit got shredded, and they came across a machine that seemed able to make anything (Captain Americas nigh-indestructible shield was broken, the machine fixed it). Spidey got a costume.

Turns out, the costume was a living creature, that took up a semi-symbiotic relationship with Spidey. I say semi- as it (IIRC) fed on adrenaline. So, it started taking control of Spidey at night, and running him ragged in order to get its' fix.

With some help from Reed Richards, it was found that the symbiote really didn't like loud sounds. Spidey wound up sticking himself right under some church bells, at noon. The resulting noise drove off the symbiote, Spidey thought it was dead.

It wasn't.

Instead it found Eddie Brock, who never really liked Spidey. Eddie became Venom, wearing the symbiote....

they well probably have the suit as some kind of nanobot experiment instead of an alien symbiote.

i kind of hope they use the storyline where the symbiote is found inside that promethium x and gets out. thats the only venom storyline ive ever heard of until this morning when i read that wiki link. i didnt know there were so many diffrent ways he started out. anyways though, i think that whole machine dealy thing wouldnt work on a movie. the alien one i believe would fit the best as they already introduced john jameson (spelling?) as a character in #2. the ultimate venom story line would just seem a bit rushed to me to throw into a movie with next to no previous introduction to any of the charaters cept mabye a mention of a name.

all that said though, i doubt this tophar guy will do venom (if that is indeed who is he playing) justice. venom can be extremely brutal, not to mention he is a massive beefcake and i just cant see this small, thin lil wierd guy doing a good job at it. its about the only time i thought that perhaps the rock would fit well in that roll. oh well the first 2 were good so ill trust this guy wont totaly fudge the 3rd up

and lets not forget the main reason we all watch the spiderman movies and that is the spot the Bruce Campbell appearance :)

lol he would be used just for the human part and venom will be cg imo.
