to totally rip a lifehacker post:
Hotkeys builds on the concept of Windows shortcut keys but takes this concept to a whole new level. Do you think key combinations are hard to remember? Just hold the Windows key for three seconds and up pops a Onscreen Keyboard with icons on the keys that are configured. This you can you use , not only to remind you of hotkey combinations, but also for Drag and Drop Configuration.check it out if your a winkey nub, did wonders for me! lifehacker postor direct linkish |

I want one of those keyboard with configurable keys where each key has an led display in it and you can change what's written on each key. Now THOSE are hotkeys.

You mean the Optimus? As far as I know you can't even buy them yet, assuming they're even in production.
Anyways, it's not like you need it, if you need to look at your keyboard to remember your keys then you aren't going to be using them very efficiently. |

I don't know if it was just me (judging from comments I dont think so) but I had no idea what d0mino was referring to, probably because I was confused by the lifehacker stuff.
Basically, this post is about a cool-looking open source, free Windows application called Qliner that lets you easily bind hotkeys for applications using a nice-looking visual interface. http://www.qliner.com/hotkeys/hk475.jpg When you hold down the windows key that virual keyboard ^ pops up on your screen and lets you do stuff. |
