An experienced Games Developer, whose primary function is to develop games for use on the Lasseters Online Casino Gaming Sites, and participate in the implementation, testing and support of web-based casino games. It is expected that this position will work closely with the Web Development Coordinator in the development and maintenance of current casino games and with Testing and Research in new products for Lasseters Online and its customers.

The right person must be able to obtain a Key License from the Northern Territory Government.

You must have experience in:

• Advanced knowledge of Flash MX and shockwave director
• For Shockwave director Lingo; for Flash games are Flash action script.
• Experience in creating Internet casino games
• Advanced skills in vector graphics applications (Freehand/Illustrator)
• Strong HTML, JavaScript and Java skills
• Strong animation skills
• Flash, Flash 8 and Photoshop knowledge
• Mathematics knowledge desirable (probability and statistics)
• Possess a good understanding of development issues and be able to liaise with other developers and programmers
• The ideal candidate must be proactive in keeping abreast of the latest trends in programming languages.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Team player, but able to work with minimum of supervision.

Key Results:

• All current games conform to government regulations.
• All new games are submitted to testing in a completed state and on time.
• All new games meet or exceed Government regulations and requirements.
• Ensure all relevant issues are communicated with Development Project Coordinator

Keep in mind that game development is for gambling type games (ie slots, video poker etc)
