Too bad I can't help you out with your gaming problem but one BIG word of advice, for your net provider:- stay away from telstra.

Well i imagine if you were in the UK you wouldnt play on Australian servers so why play on UK servers when your in Australia :D.

Luckily for you we don't all spend our spare time riding kangaroos around the outback and there is a large online gaming base in Australia and although i don't play WOW if memory servers me correct they made a couple of oceanic servers over the last few months so youl have no problems.

LOL at the harsh comment about telstra.
Im with them for cable and i love it, anyways. back on topic!
(BTW, Ausgamers, is hosted by telstra, along with all the 285 servers)

As for gaming, well. its massive, you can always find a game with anyone on here.
as for ping, it can vary.. i get about +200 to europe.. so aslong as its not FPS then it should be ok.

and finding an ISP. have a look at: HTTP://WHIRLPOOL.NET.AU
use the plan search for your ISP of choice and requirements, then look at the discussion from users of that ISP about how good they are...
and on the right side of this web page, you will see the top 20 isp's
http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/

hope it helps...
