If anyone is just getting into this and wants to team up and kill stuff let me know.

I've only been going for 2 days so far but I'm willing to start fresh and get some teamwork going on. Be heaps more fun playing thru with more people then going solo, plus it makes getting thru the quests a helluva lot easier.

Obviously it would be better to move to a realm with more people but the thing that sucks about that is too many people killing enemies and having to wait for them to respawn. Or isn't that really an issue?

I'm playing on Eldre Thales at the moment and there's no wait to join plus it's not packed. But I'm willing to change if I have to.

Actually, I was asking this for my older brother. Sif I'd play WoW. It's such a dumb game with dumb graphics and dumb controls and dumb playability. Man, I can't believe you thought I wa asking this for myself. Hehe.

Can someone help me out and put an X where that spider is that you have to kill and take back to the chicky babe in Darnassus. It's somewhere along Wellspring Lake but I'mn f***ed if I can find it. I've spent a couple of hours searching for the stupid thing and it's pissing me off. I've also killed every single spider along the lake and still haven't come across the main one.

Rev: http://www.thottbot.com/ get the thottbot addon and use it to find quest locations. Great stuff. Even a firefox quick search plugin.

Is that the Cosmos program? Doesn't seem to be anything else there.

Its not actually along the lake, its along the north wall, near the lake, it spawns in different places. Can be a pain to find, but just check all along that wall, on either side of the lake, and you'll come accross her eventually.

Edit: Also, I use http://wow.allakhazam.com these days to look up locations of quest mobs, npcs, item info, all that stuff. Its pretty rockin. The thottbot website hasn't worked for me for ages.

I ended up finding the spastic thing. Went on the boat to the other island and did a couple of missions and grabbed a bear as a pet and came back again. I wanna finish all the quests off in the first map before moving on but some of the directions are dumb. Why can't it just have a glowy indicator showing where to go?

Use thottbot and grab yourself CT-mod and all your troubles will be solved.

So I'll assume from that that http://www.thottbot.com still works for some/most people? Cos that URL hasn't worked for me for a very long time now =\

I just found out the other day that your restricted to 50 characters per account,unfair!! Thank god for two accounts.

You don't need the cosmos pack to just get the thotbot addon, but I'd recommend cosmos either way because it comes with a few good addons and autoupdates.

But when you get thottbot, it's a simple matter of going to the site and reading the comments on quests as people give you the x and y coords to feed thottbot with /tloc x,y, and wham insta X-on-the-map.

bleh, cosmos. I haven't used it for ages, but last time I used it it was a prick of a thing that didn't play nice with other mods, because it made lots of changes to the base FrameXML files.

CT-Mod rocks, I just use that now. Its not clutered up with useless gimmicks and novelties and its got everything I need.

How does the whole queing system work? Do older accounts get preferance or something? I keep jumping up in the que.

Guest accounts are not allowed to que up....so full access accounts get preference!

thottbot isnt an addon,its a data base you use to get hints and clues on where to go and what to do.

There's a thottbot plugin for the cosmos UI that allows uploading of things like character profiles and loot droprates.
