I've had the game for 2 days and I have to update it. Fortunately, the update only weighs in at 22meg contrary to the 150meg rumours I heard a few days ago. Any chance of an Ausgamers Mirror?

Multiplayer: - Fixed the Game Type filter on the server browser screen. - Fixed broken ladder animations. - Spectator "Fly" mode now works as intended. - SlowMo Score Time is now reported through the in-game server browser for SlowMo CTF games. - Fixed a problem where players would sometimes spawn into Team Elimination games as a neutral player. - Team Eliminmation servers will no longer advance to the next round if you are the first to join and then switch teams. - Dead players will no longer win the round in Elimination game types if they have the highest score when time runs out. - The score tally on the HUD now works properly in all Elimination game types. - Remote clients can no longer log into SCMD on hosted games as original intended. SCMD still works as before on dedicated servers. - The weapon of the player you are watching will no longer appear on the screen when using the "Follow" spectator mode. - Fixed problem with grenades getting stuck on or bouncing off of breakable windows in certain levels. - Further optimized performance and fixed minor lighting and art bugs in the Streets CTF level. |

anyone else finding the game BORING?
Their has been times when ive run around for minutes without making contact with the enemy. Finally you blast a few guards, then you creep through another 5 rooms. Gets dull very quickly. me thinks i just wasted my money and should of grabbed Q4 |

what difficulty have you got it on cubanpete? I bet you have it on baby mode, because you sure are crying like one. Put it on the hardest setting or go play multiplayer. Single player mode of any game sucks balls, I've never once finished an SP game.

Got it on moderate setting. The Ai can be tough, when your lucky enough to come across em! Seriously 2-4 minutes if not more between combat! Their is only so much excitement that ambient noise and empty rooms can give. Ive killed more people in Splinter Cell pandora tomorrow than this!

OMG. That game SUCKED. Story Driven my ARSE Monolith! Max Payne and HL2 were story Driven games, unlike that piss-poor attempt I just forked out 99 bucks for.

All I hear are some whiney bitches complaining. FEAR rocks and you should all stop complaining and put the difficulty up. That, and stop quick saving every 3 seconds FFS.

Dude, I played it on hard. I expected a HARD game. The game was pussy. Yes, I died a few times but that is to be expected from a game with cool melee attacks. I assume that the 'extreme' would be a little harder but I'll be f***ed if I want to play that sorry excuse for a story again. Yes, the fights were cool. Yes the (5 different) enemy characters looked cool. But sorry, the game sucked. And the final boss was a piece of s***. Give me more of those awesome freaky invisible guys instead of scaring me with them at the start, then letting them get there arsed kicked at the end when I have 180HP, shotgun skillz and huge 'reflexes'.
s***ty game spoilers And what the f*** was with that stupid 'Alma is your mum! She's been killing everyone but you until now but now she's going to kill you' thing? And WHY did the eaty-human guy give you an option to join/understand him and leave him alone if you COULDN'T? In short, I really liked it - it pains me to say it but its probably what Doom 3 should have been (though I still dug on Doom 3). |
