To anyone who isn't doing anything this Friday night (and likes a good rock act), come and see my band playing at the Basement.

We're opening at 9pm and are followed by 'Flicker Switch', 'Empty Cell' and 'Shades of Dust'. I'd best describe us as a piano rock band (with some serious 80s influences) - and we love flashy solos.

Cover charge will be $6~$8.

If you do come, be sure to say g'day to the bass player afterwards. :)

tube poweramp?

Nope - I wanted to get the tube sound on a budget...

Only the pre is tube (Ampeg SVP-CL), the poweramp is SS but cranks out 1140 Watts into my cabs.

yes yes ill come, and ill ring around my mates at some stage, and see if i can get a few to come...

more like 900w at a respectible THD :P should have called me bassman, could have picked one of those amps up at near cost (got 3 sitting at work)
