I just installed a wireless ADSL setup.

I have the DSL modem, and then a wireless access point attached to it.

I'm getting 100% connection from my PC, but if im playing a game, every 1minute or so the connection pretty much completely drops out. Is there any way to stop this happening?

I'm using Belkin Wireless Access Point and a Belkin Wireless PCI card.

Cheers.

a mate of mine had the same problem i think, he narrowed it down to his computer sending unnecassary reply packets back to the router for no inparticular reason. thats what he told me anyway, im not sure what or whether he found a solution to it.

Change channels, if it gets interference it will lag cus it cant get the data through

turn your SSID off, high overhead of packet sending with name of network bla bla

I had the exact same problem with my netgear wireless.

Turns out the built in software that came with it clashed with sp2, so i just use the windows networking to configure it, works fine for me. Apart from what the others have said, choose a different channel to the other wireless networks, make sure the aeriels screwed on properley, point them in the direction for maximum range (my manual told me this).

Also you can turn off the amount of times the card searches for the access point that should also help you. Sorry I can't remember the exact setting.
