Nah, this is the problem - blue cards are used for two different things. One is for the right to work with children, the other is to certify that you have completed a workplace health and safety induction course.

Two completely different tasks and requirements - but they're both commonly referred to as 'blue cards'.

Fkn spewin. Just the other month I had to travel to HIA in south brisbane and do their crappy fkn 4 hour course, thankfully they let us out after 3 hours.

Biggest load of money raising s*** ive been too, well along with their small business course, and all the other s*** you have to pay for to become certified.

A_W classic! The government has 2 types of BLUE CARD's. Stupid dont know why.
The BLUE CARD im refering to is:

30215 QLD - Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry)

needed for anyone working on a construction site regardless of the occupation.

4hrs s***!!! I reckon i did this online one in less than an hour. That was with making a couple of silly mistakes and having to redo a few questions.

...One is for the right to work with children...
funny thing is that if you submit to a cop check to work in the department of child safety, you still don't automatically get one.
