Recieved the usual at work email from bigpond, 10Gb blah blah shaped 64k blah blah, BUT today i've been getting near full speed on adls 512/128 with just a few fluxuations(sp). This is a first for the connection here as we are always slowed straight away. Anyone else havin the same result? Not complaining at all, gota love extra bandwidth :) |

I'd say as soon as your modem resets or loses power you will be shaped.

They dont always cap your speed when you reach 10 gig. I have gone to almost 20 gig before uncapped. It depends alot on the usage of the other users during the month, if the servers are getting hammered they might cap you, or depending on your history i suppose. Im on 10.5 gig now, going at full speed.
