Hi, I'm going to be moving soon and i wont be bale to bring by beloved s***box pc's with me.

I will need to knock together some kind of cheap system that will let me spam qgl with crap posts, watch movies, DVD's, and maybe play a few games.

Someone design me a PC.. :-D

I'm thinking of

P4 CPU
MOBO
1GB of ram
CHEAP case
15" TFT
120gb HDD
etc

But, i havent been keeping up with the prices lately.
I'd like it to be $1000 complete. (or less)

Buy a shuttle, you will needs lots of room in japan :)

damn you scuzzy I was going to suggest a shuttle. You can get them with ati's on board for like 5-600 then add in some ram and a cpu. Wouldn't a tft monitor be about 300? that only leaves 700 to spend on the rest of your s***.

if you are looking at something to play games on then yeah, go a64 and get at least a 6600 or else it'd be a bit of a waste of money...
